AP Studio Art Legacy Project
AP Studio Art Legacy Project
The students in the AP Studio class were presented with a project challenge based on the following:
1. Students will create a legacy piece based on choices made by the class as well as their own individual strengths and contributions to visual arts.
2. Students will participate in planning and development of group or individual project.
This year, students chose a famous artwork that reflected something about their personality. For example, Erin chose Starry Night; Jeremy chose The Scream. Students painted the Master work on their faces with help of their peers. Several students photographed the painted faces including Jed, Kelly, Morgan, and Carrie. Carrie created the finished project based on discussions of ideas in class after our Seniors left. Everyone participated in some aspect to create the finished artwork.
The printed version will be hanging in the Art Wing in the Fall!
