Students in Ms. Holliday's Photo classes recently experimented with proportion and scale, and contrast in their Visual Journals. This design exercise challenged students to use magazine photos to create a "crazy face" by distorting proportion and scale. The more outrageous the better! After creating their face, students applied contrast by creating a bold pattern using sharpie markers and then embellishing with a 3D material such as puffy paint, feathers, or ribbon.
