Princeton High School Art Department would like to announce the students who have had work recognized in the Regional Scholastics Art Competition. This is one of the most widely recognized art competitions for middle and high school students in the US. The competition begins at the regional level and judges choose works or portfolios for three different awards: Honorable Mention, Silver Key, and Gold Key. These works will be displayed at a regional exhibition at River Center in Covington. All Gold Key winners go on to compete at the National level during which Gold and Silver Keys are awarded in New York City.
Award recipients from Lindsay Holliday's, Emily Lie's, and Melissa Sand's classes include:
Gold Key Award: Elizabeth Britton; Silver Key Awards: Olivia Kwiencinski, Skyler Wilson, Colette Beard, Kaetlyn Culter, Tim Fortner, and Maddie Lohmeier; Honorable Mentions: Julia Denny, Colette Beard, William Cheney, Elizabeth Britton, Megan McGuire, Breaunna Robinson, Brooke Snelling, and two for Jordan Richardson.
Received a Gold Key Award
Please join us for the ceremony, 2/21/2014 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center, One West RiverCenter Blvd. Covington, Kentucky 41011. 9th & 10th Grade - 7 pm; 11th & 12th Grade - 8 pm.
The exhibition is across the street at 100 Rivercenter on the 10th Floor (Above First Watch) and remain open until 10 pm following the ceremony.
